Halloween Activities

These are some of our Halloween events that we have done so far. Cornbelly's was really fun and we couldn't have had any better weather. It was such a beautiful day and the kids had a blast. Baylee wore her cornbelly's bracelet for almost the hole week after because she kept saying she needed it so she could go back.
Jason's family has started a tradition where the hole family gets together and carves pumpkins together. We have dinner and then break out the carving stuff and see who can carve the best pumpkin. Family traditions are always fun and the kids look forward to it every year.

Get togethers

This year my friends and I are all turning 30 can you believe it. I can't and I don't really want to. On Sunday we had a little get together for the October birthdays. Heather Goodman had her big 30th on October 2nd and Kathryn Robinson is having her big 30th tomorrow the 16th. We decided this is quite the big mile marker so we better celebrate, and it gave us a good reason to get together. We had cake and ice cream and just hung out and caught up on what was going on in each others lives. It was really nice to see everyone it's been along time sense we graduated over 10 years now. We are getting so old but I definately don't feel old I feel like I am still a teenager, hopefully I don't act like one though.

Sweet Hair

This is why Mckayla loves her daddy to wash her hair. The other night Jason yells to me as he is washing her hair to hurry and grab the camera. "This is the best one yet", he says as I am searching. So I grab the camera and run in there to find this awesome mohawk that Mckayla is sporting. And let me tell you she was so proud of it. Jason was so proud of it, that he had to take a picture of it. Now I know why Mckayla and Baylee love there daddy so much it's because he takes the time to do fun things with them. I really wish I could take the time to do fun things like this. I swear I am always in a hurry or something. When I give the girls baths it's always hurry and do it as fast as I can so I can get all three of them bathed, hair dried, Kyler feed, and everybody ready so that we can begin the whole before bed routine. I sometimes wish I didn't always feel so rushed to do things and had more time to enjoy things like bath time and doing things fun and being the fun parent. Instead of always being the mean one. Mckayla was so proud of her Mohawk she didn't want to finish washing her hair.

Park City

Last weekend Jason's sister Becky and her husband Clint came into town. So the fam decided to go up to Park City and hang out for a night in a condo. The kids had a blast. We road the Alpine slide and the coaster Sunday night. After we got back to the condo we went swimming. Then the next day we got up and hit the outlet mall for a little while and then went and road the zip line that they have up there now by the Alpine slide. I was not excited to ride the zip line but Jason made me. It's supposed to be one of the longest highest zip lines around. Once I did it,I was so glad I did and it really wasn't that bad once you got going. The Alpine Coaster was actually more of an adrenaline rush than the zip line. If any of you get a chance to ride the Coaster do it, it is so much fun. At first we weren't going to do it because we thought it was just a newer version of the Alpine slide but it's not. It is so much better then the slide, you can go so fast on it and it loops around. After riding it I can see why they don't let little kids ride it. The kids did enjoy riding the slide. Baylee was riding with me and she wanted to be in charge of the brake so I couldn't get her to go very fast. We all had a blast!!!!!!
Thanks Dee and Jean for the great weekend!!!
